Don't Call Child Services

BL is a bit battered and bruised today as you can see from the lump on his right temple. This last weekend we were visiting Sue & Kevin at their chalet in Talisman and BL was supposed to sleep in his pack-and-play. It was the first time he's slept in it since early fall. He wasn't ready to go to bed when we put him in there and was putting up a bit of a fuss. I waited outside the room for a minute to see if he was going to just fall to sleep as usual and was surprised to see the door open; out comes BL to continue his complaint. He learned that he was able to vault over the edge and get out. The next night we put him to bed in his crib, happy that he was once again safely contained. Two minutes later there was a big THUMP and we went up to find him on the floor. After putting down a few crash matts we went through this routine about 10 times before he gave in and fell asleep. It won't be much longer before the little guy is sleeping in his own bed.
