BL likes to know where his food comes from and if at all possible, get it himself from the source. Since he's still under the minimum height restriction for slaughtering livestock we are sticking to fruits and vegetables for now. Yesterday was the perfect day for picking strawberries (or 'tubbies as he used to call them). Toddlers are perfect for the job, they don't have to bend over far and their little hands can get right into the plants for the ripe ones.
BL's always been tough to train so he spent most of his time shuttling berries from his FH to the "big basket".
On most trips between his FH and the basket, he gets his "taste" - a young Tony Soprano in the making.
BL hasn't got much patience for manual labour, it it were up to him the harvest would be done with one of these babies.
