Pumpkin Eating Monsters

Last weekend we continued our tour of Southern Ontario farms. This time we piled into a car with Deb and Stuart and drove to the Howell Family Pumpkin Farm. (BL's MH was grateful for the ride after a late night at a charity event left him with only 4 hours sleep.)

The most fun we had was with the big bouncy bulgy thing. After this picture, the adults piled on and had a hoot bouncing around until we had to relinquish it back to the kids.





The main event was a 25 foot, animatronic, pumpkin eating monster.







Another highlight was the pig races. This event was won by the speedy "Lindsay Loham", edging out Kevin Bacon by a snout.



As a prize for officiating one of the races, Deb got a pig snout which was promptly re-gifted to BL.



The farmer is some sort of inventor, along with the pumpkin eating monster machine, there were other robots around the farm. These 2 were trying to get a truck started. They act out the whole scene - dialogue with moving mouths, shaking truck when it tries to start. BL was fascinated.
