Thomas Patrick's First Birthday Party

The main reason for the trip to Ottawa was to celebrate BL's cousin Thomas Patrick's first birthday. After adjusting to a room full of new people, BL got right into the action. TP is a bit small to take care of his own unwrapping so BL stepped right in to help out.







Not wanting to play with "baby toys", BL makes his own toys and his own fun.





Actual conversation between BL's male handler (MH) and the hotel valet while loading up the car:

Valet: "Need directions to get to the highway?"

MH: "No thanks. We want to swing by the Prime Minister's house on the way out. How do we get to Sussex Drive from here?"

Valet: "Easy, turn right out of the hotel drive and it's 2 blocks away. Want me to look up the address for you?"

MH: "mmmmm, no thanks. Pretty sure it's #24."
